Niyojan ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, phone number, and a 4-digit PIN (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and display name from those providers.
Portfolio Data: If you import your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) or enter holdings manually, we store your mutual fund portfolio data including fund names, units, and investment amounts.
Profile Information: You may optionally provide your name, PAN (for CAS matching), date of birth, investment goals, and risk preferences.
Usage Data: We collect basic usage analytics to improve the App experience. This does not include your financial data.
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords and PINs are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
The App uses the following third-party services:
These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum information required for authentication.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data — including portfolio data, profile information, analytics, and recommendations — is permanently deleted from our servers.
Niyojan is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
